Taiwan and Japan jointly promote semiconductor UTLP The semiconductor UTLP plan initiated by the National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (NYCU) aims to create a new financial base for research universities that conforms to the market mechanism outside of the industrial sector system, enable university professors to obtain income levels that are in line with industry and international academia, and strengthen communications between industry and academia, collaborative innovation, elimination of talent structural risks, and semiconductor competitiveness for sustainable Taiwan.
